The Richest Bugs in Pharloom: Hornet’s Guide to Rosary Farming
Pharloom is a kingdom where even the benches demand payment, and the local bugs trade in shiny beads called Rosaries. Every doorbell seems to need a donation, every fast-travel bellway empties your pockets, and Hornet quickly learns that a blade without a full wallet is just a very sharp letter opener. The economy is brutal, but the bugs are loaded—if you know which ones to rob. After years of Silk Song skullduggery, the community has identified the most profitable bugs to send to the great silk spinner in the sky. These are the enemies that make a beeline for your bead pouch, and the feeling is mutual.
In the early game, Rosaries are rarer than a truthful merchant. The Overgrown Pilgrims of Mosshome, however, are walking piggy banks wrapped in moss. These pests are annoying—they lash out and disappear into the undergrowth—but each one carries 13 Rosaries. That’s a king’s ransom when you’re still saving up for that first bench unlock. Head to the rooms where they spawn, bench up, and go on a tiny massacre. Within minutes, Hornet can afford half the local economy.
Later, the Deep Divers of the lava-soaked Deep Docks make the Overgrown Pilgrims look like pocket change. These athletic monstrosities hit like a bell tower and move like an acrobat, dealing two Masks of damage per swing. Yet they drop a hefty 20 Rosaries each. If you’ve got the gall to grind them, you’ll be rolling in beads. The Deep Docks may be treacherous, but the real hazard is a Hornet with an empty wallet—those Divers are just walking loans with legs.
Then there’s the Covetous Pilgrim, a mini-boss that literally beats Hornet with its own wealth. This rare bug uses a whip made of Rosaries, which is both a flex and an invitation. Taking one down nets a cool 60 Rosaries
